This policy covers this wholesale site. Our retail store at mottousa.com is separate and has its own policy.
What we collect

What we do not do
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels or third-party marketing scripts on this site. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — database and account authentication.
- Vercel — site hosting. Standard server logs including IP address.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is the controller of card data it collects.
- Resend — sending order confirmations and enquiry emails.
Each is bound to use the data only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax, generally seven years. Enquiries that do not become accounts are kept while the opportunity is live and then deleted on request. Account records are kept while the account is open.
Your choices
Write to info@mottousa.com and we will act on any of these. We may need to verify who you are first, and we may have to keep records we are legally required to retain.
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and get a copy.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete it.
- Appeal if we refuse.
If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law, including Texas, California, Colorado or Virginia, these are statutory rights and we will respond within the time that law requires. We honour the same requests from everyone else as a matter of policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising. Some privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to catch advertising and analytics activity. This site runs neither, so there is nothing here to opt out of. We will never retaliate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Storage on your device
We use browser storage rather than tracking cookies. What we store and how to clear it is listed on Cookie Settings.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Prices are never accepted from the browser: every price is re-resolved on our server, so what you see and what you are charged cannot drift apart. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected accounts if a breach requires it.
Marketing messages
If you opt in, we may send you email or text messages about stock, pricing and promotions. Unsubscribe from any marketing email, or reply STOP to any text. Transactional messages about your orders and account continue either way, because they are part of the service. Consent to marketing is never a condition of buying from us.
International
We operate from the United States and our processors store data here. If you use this site from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than where you live.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to info@mottousa.com and we will delete it.
Our retail store is separate
mottousa.com runs on a different platform with its own analytics, advertising and cookie consent tools, and its own privacy policy. Nothing you do on this wholesale site is shared with it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
